Caroline Bier was born and raised in Middletown, Ohio prior to enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in 1993. Caroline served in many different locations during her 20 years in the Marine Corps: Camp Pendleton, CA;Memphis, TN; Okinawa, Japan; Camp Lejeune, NC; and Quantico, VA. Caroline received her military occupational specialty training as a personnel administrator, at Camp Johnson, NC. She also served as a personnel chief and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 3/Personnel Officer in 2013.
Upon retiring from the Marine Corps, Caroline was employed at Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Manpower Information Division, as a Management Analyst. Caroline assumed duties as Executive Director, Butler County Veterans Service Commission in June 2014. Caroline is a graduate of Campbell University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a graduate of National University, with a Master of Arts in Human Behavior. Caroline resides in Middletown with her husband Jesse and has one daughter, Kyrsten and two stepsons: Jacob and Jared.
