Matt Jones 

  
Matt Jones is a native Hamiltonian. He joined the Army after graduating high school. Matt completed his basic training at Ft. Benning, GA and AIT at Ft. Gordon, GA. After his training he was stationed at Ft. Hood, TX with the 89th Military Police Brigade, 720th Military Police Battalion, 64th Military Police Company. While with the 64th MO Co he deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After his discharge from active duty, he returned to Hamilton. 

Matt began attending Miami University and joined the 100th Division, Drill Sergeant Company Ft. Thomas, KY. He graduated in 2008 with his Bachelor's of Science in Marketing from Miami University. He was also honorably discharged from the Army Reserves in 2008 as a Staff Sergeant. Matt began working for the Butler County Veterans Service Commission in July 2009 and is now the Chief Veterans Service Officer. He returned to school in 2011 and received a Master's of Science in Management from Kaplan University.
